Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Glacial Plains Land Services website (glacialplainslandservices.com) or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Services
Glacial Plains Land Services provides excavation and land services including but not limited to:
- Gravel driveway installation and maintenance
- Site preparation and grading
- Land clearing services
- Building pad construction
- Invasive species removal
- Outdoor recreation construction
- Foundation and excavation work
All services are subject to availability, property assessment, and project feasibility.
Estimates and Pricing
- All estimates are provided free of charge after property assessment
- Estimates are valid for 30 days from date of issue
- Final pricing may vary if project scope changes or unexpected site conditions are encountered
- We will discuss any price adjustments with you before proceeding with additional work
- Payment terms will be outlined in your project agreement
Project Scheduling
- We respond to all quote requests within 24 hours
- Project scheduling is subject to weather conditions, equipment availability, and current workload
- We will provide estimated start and completion dates for your project
- Delays due to weather, unforeseen site conditions, or client-requested changes may affect timelines
Property Access and Conditions
By engaging our services, you grant Glacial Plains Land Services:
- Access to the property for assessment and work completion
- Permission to operate equipment on the property
- Authority to coordinate with county offices for required permits (when applicable)
You are responsible for:
- Marking underground utilities before work begins
- Ensuring property boundaries are clearly defined
- Disclosing known site conditions that may affect the project
- Obtaining necessary property owner permissions if you are not the owner
Permits and Compliance
- We coordinate with Miami and Franklin County offices for culvert permits and required approvals
- Property owners are responsible for any building permits required for their projects
- We make reasonable efforts to comply with local regulations but cannot guarantee permit approval
Limitation of Liability
Glacial Plains Land Services will perform work with professional care and equipment. However:
- We are not liable for pre-existing underground utilities not properly marked
- We are not responsible for soil conditions or site issues not discoverable through reasonable assessment
- Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided
- We are not liable for consequential or indirect damages
Cancellation Policy
- Project cancellations must be made in writing
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before scheduled start may incur a cancellation fee
- Work already completed will be billed at the agreed rate
Warranty
We stand behind our work and will address any issues resulting from our workmanship. This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by weather events after project completion
- Issues resulting from changes made by others after our work is complete
- Normal wear and maintenance needs
Website Use
- Content on our website is for informational purposes
- We may update website content without notice
- You may not use our website content without permission
Privacy
Your contact information and project details are kept confidential. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as necessary to complete your project (e.g., coordinating with hauling contractors or county offices).
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Miami County, Kansas.
